World Earth Day: Screen-printing Old for New & Get Stamped with Lino

This World Earth Day, we’re teaming up with our Members at Ocean Studios to create a series of taster workshops on Saturday 22nd April, nurturing creativity and conversations around our precious world through printmaking.

Your booking will include 2 sessions exploring Screen-printing with Dave Holt and Lino cut with Ismay Berncastle.

Screenprinting Old for New

Bring an old T-shirt or item of clothing and transform it using the Screenprinting process to bring some new life to your wardrobe! You’ll learn basic screen-printing techniques in our specialist Screenprint studio.

Get Stamped with Lino

Learn how create your own stamps using simple Linocut techniques, using upcycled items and traditional lino. You’ll be using specialist linocut tools to carve your design and have access to a traditional relief press.

The café will be open throughout World Earth Day for refreshments, and you’ll get a chance to see some of our other presses in action.

Ticket Information

– The ticket fee includes 2 taster sessions.

- 1 Ticket is for a group of up to 4 people.

- Ticket fee is £60 per group

- All attendees must arrive 15 minutes before session

- All ages welcome, each group must have at least 1 adult. Whilst we welcome younger children, be aware that the workshops are more suitable for children aged 6 years and above.

– This ticket is part of a series of workshops across World Earth Day at Ocean Studios. This ticket is solely for the 2 sessions booked and cannot be transferred on the day.
